What we collect

The only personal information this site collects is what you type into the free rank audit form: your name, your business name, your website or Google listing, your city, and a phone number or email so we can reach you. Every field is voluntary. Browsing on its own does not collect any personal details; it does set a couple of small first-party cookies, which the cookies section below explains in full.

If you use the chat assistant, the messages you type there are also saved, so we can review answer quality and follow up if you ask us to. The assistant is automated, and the chat panel says so.

How we use it

We use what you submit for exactly one thing: preparing and sending the free rank audit you asked for, and following up about it. We do not sell, rent, or share it with third-party marketers, and we do not use it for anything unrelated to that audit or an engagement you start with us.

Where it lives

Submissions are stored in Supabase, a third-party database provider. The form can only add new entries from the public site; it cannot read back, edit, or delete anything that has already been submitted, by us or anyone else.

The site itself is hosted on Cloudflare, which sees standard web request information (like IP address and browser) as part of serving any page, the same as almost every website on the internet.

When we email you, whether that is the audit you asked for, a follow-up, or an update about work we are doing for you, delivery runs through Resend, an email delivery provider that processes the recipient address and message content in order to deliver it.

If you become a client and pay an invoice by card, the payment is processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe directly and never touch our systems.

Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies, set by getlocalpeak.com itself. One holds a random visitor identifier so we can recognize a returning visit without knowing who you are. Others remember which campaign, link, or referring site first brought you to us, so that when you request an audit or become a client we can connect that lead to how you found us. These cookies are set on getlocalpeak.com and its subdomains, including the client portal at app.getlocalpeak.com, so the same visit carries through if you later sign in.

That is the full extent of it. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or any cookie that follows you around other websites, and we never sell or share what these cookies hold. Your browser can block or clear them at any time; the site keeps working without them.

If you use the chat assistant or sign into the portal, those features also rely on functional storage to keep your session working. If we turn on traffic analytics, it is through Plausible, a tool that reports aggregate visit counts without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.

To make examples on the site relevant, we use the approximate city that Cloudflare derives from your network address. It personalizes text on the page in your browser; we do not store it or log it.

How long we keep it

We keep audit submissions as long as they are useful for following up about your audit or an ongoing engagement, or until you ask us to delete them.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of what you submitted, or ask us to delete it, at any time through the contact form on this site or by emailing [email protected].

If how we handle data changes, we will update this page. The date above reflects the last real change, not a routine republish.
